TALKabout with Jim Sherraden of Hatch Show Print

Jim Sherraden is the manager, curator, and chief designer at Hatch Show Print. Hatch is a letterpress print shop in downtown Nashville that has been producing gig posters since the late nineteenth century. From Johnny Cash and Hank Williams to Led Zeppelin and Fleet Foxes, Hatch has made letterpress posters for some of the best musicians of the past 100 years.

Jim Sherraden joined Hatch in 1984, years before letterpress saw a surge in popularity and Hatch became a designer-tourist destination. Jim is in it for the long haul. Come out to hear him talk about what makes Hatch's dedication to hand-set letterpress printing important in today's digital world.
