About GUTS
GUTS is a friendly pumpkin carving competition organized and created by HAWSE, A Brand Agency in Charlotte, North Carolina. The purpose of this event is to unify Charlotte creative professionals in building awareness of the design talent in Charlotte, and more importantly, raising money for Levine Children's Hospital. They help the kids who fight the real fight everyday.

Levine Children's Hospital
Levine Children's Hospital is dedicated to caring for children from birth through young adulthood. We lead the region in offering more than 30 specialized pediatric services including kidney, liver and heart transplants; blood and marrow transplant, cardiac and cancer care; neurosurgery; rehabilitation service; and the highest designated level of neonatal intensive care.

Our mission is to ensure excellent children's healthcare by building partnerships between caregivers and families. Our guiding principles of Quality of Care, Respect for Families, Partnership and Family Education are at the center of every decision we make.

In October 2007, we opened the doors to Levine Children's Hospital. This new 234-bed children's hospital combines the medical expertise the community already relies on with a spectacular new state-of-the-art facility designed to care for the physical and emotional needs of children and their families.
