Designers Accord: Charlotte Town Hall

The Designers Accord is a global coalition of designers, educators, researchers, engineers,
and corporate leaders, working together to create positive environmental and social impact.
The Designers Accord is made up of over 170,000 members of the creative community,
representing 100 countries, and each design discipline.

BOLTgroup was an early adopter of the Designers Accord and will host the southeastern version
of the Designers Accord "Town Hall" at their offices in Charlotte on Thursday Aug 27 from 6 - 9 pm.

The previous DA Town Halls occurred at Smart Design in NYC, Continuum in Boston, Lunar
in San Francisco, and Bressler in Philadelphia. The Town Hall is an opportunity for local designers
and firms to share the sustainability strategies and techniques used in their practices, to seek help
with related challenges they may have faced, and to network around this issue. The Town Hall
will start with a few planned presentations leading into open discussion. The meeting will be
an informal, open sharing of knowledge and ideas.
