BOOM! comes to Charlotte.

AIGA Charlotte is proud to welcome the fifth biennial BOOM! design competition to the Queen City.

AIGA Charlotte & AIGA Raleigh are partnering to recognize the creative thinking of Carolina designers. BOOM!, our biennial design competition, invites you to submit your most imaginative design solutions and celebrate the rewards of inspired thinking. Designers from North Carolina and South Carolina will have the opportunity to enter their best work, which will be judged by a nationally recognized panel of design professionals. Judging will take place in November 2008 followed by a “Dinner with the Judges” where the judging panel will present their work. An exhibition of the winning entries will be held in Charlotte on Saturday, April, 25, 2009.

Please mark your calendar: All entries must be received by Friday, October 24, 2008.

Eligible work must have been designed and produced between December 2006 and October 2008. The BOOM! competition is limited to North Carolina and South Carolina residents only. This competition is restricted to professionally-produced solutions. Pieces that were created in a speculative manner are not eligible.
